Leader Specific Training
This course is tailored for adults who have recently accepted the responsibility of delivering the Scouting program to youth by serving as Scoutmasters, assistant Scoutmasters and members of the Troop Committee. The sessions in this training course are thorough, comprehensive, and fun. Discussions, group activities, and video clips will keep the sessions lively and create an atmosphere of learning. Sessions include:
Session 1 - Getting Started: The Role of the Scoutmaster in a Boy-led Troop
Session 2 - Lighting the Fire: The Outdoor Program and the Advancement Program
Session 3 - Keeping it Going: Program Planning and Troop Administration
